IdolM@ster Kirari/Anzu Control

Happy Happy Idol, Kirari MoroboshiChill Type Idol, Anzu Futaba

Welcome the Big Mom Control Deck of the format, IdolM@ster! So the objective of the deck is to control the opponent's board with Kirari and control the opponent's hand with Anzu. It is a one-two punch kind of deck when both are on board. Your Anzu is protected from attacks by the Kirari in the middle and Kirari gives your whole board +10000 power and +2 critical as long as Anzu is on board! Decks that cannot answer Kirari and with no way to prevent their skills from getting nullified will just be destroyed by this Big Mom.

Now onto the infamous Turn 1 Discard combo. You pull it off with these cards right here. By calling 2 Anzu to your side and Kanako to the center. During the battle phase you use Kanako's skill to rest Anzu forcing your opponent to discard 2! If you have Episode 4: Sexy & Guilty in hand you can cast it to restand 1-2 Anzu based on how many face down cards below your buddy zone you have. By casting this spell multiple times you can discard 2-6 cards from your opponent's hand! This outright wins you the game. However, this combo is not that consistent as you need many pieces for it to work out.

Who to Buddy?

Now the important question is do you buddy Anzu or Kirari?

 Happy Happy Idol, Kirari Moroboshi

Personally I would buddy Kirari as is the main tank of the deck and by increasing her stats, its harder for the opponent to touch. Having that 3 soul makes Kirari the ultimate tank that you know will survive till the end of the turn for your flag's effect to resolve as well.

How well this deck can function depends on how many face down cards you have in your buddy zone. So there are only 3 ways to add cards into your buddy zone, that is by your flag and the effect of 2 different spells. 'Try New Things' & 'Flower Fairies' these two spells are the cards that will swing things into your favour Most importantly it is the protection spell, 'The Trick is to...' this card alone wins you most matchups. By using the second effect, you win Conan outright while using the first effect helps you stop the opponent from disrupting your plays and ensures your Anzu goes off.

All in all, this is the deck to play if you are new to Buddyfight as it is beginner friendly and is relatively easy to build. This deck counters Time Dragon because of the protection spell and Kirari so if your locals are filled with Time Dragons then this is the best time to pick this deck up!
